Grove – 8-Channel Solid State Relay
This 8-Channel Solid State Relay uses power semiconductor devices like thyristors and transistors instead of traditional coils, offering much faster switching speeds compared to mechanical relays. This relay is based on the G3MC202P module, allowing control of up to 240VAC using a 5VDC signal. With the Grove interface, you can use the SSR with your Arduino.
An on-board STM32F030F4P6 microcontroller manages the control of each channel individually. Commands from an Arduino or other boards are transmitted via the I2C interface, and the STM32F030F4P6 interprets these commands, allowing you to control the switches you want with ease.
Features
- Solid-state relays have much faster switching speeds compared with electromechanical relays and have no physical contacts to wear out.
- No physical contact means no sparking.
- Increased lifetime, even if it is activated many times, as there are no moving parts to wear and no contacts to pit or build up carbon.
- Much smaller than mechanical relays, and can integrate more channels.
- The sensor ensures “Plug and Play” and could be versatile for various projects.
- Product Number: Seeed 103020136
