Grove – 4 Channel 16-bit ADC (ADS1115) with Programmable Gain Amplifier
This Grove 16-bit ADC (ADS1115) is an analogue-to-digital converter that has a wide input voltage range due to its programmable gain amplifier (PGA), with the ability to measure voltages between ±256 mV and ±6.144 V. Its built-in multiplexer (MUX) allows for either four single-ended or two differential input measurements, making it suitable for various projects, such as analogue sensor reading and battery voltage detection.
Its low power consumption, compatibility with I2C communication and selectable I2C addresses make it ideal for IoT and complex projects. The module operates within a 2.0V to 5.5V range, making it compatible with 3.3V and 5V systems. The programmable data rate ranges from 8 SPS to 860 SPS, providing 16-bit precision.
