1.28” Round LCD HAT for Raspberry Pi Pico
The 1.28” Round LCD HAT is a 1.28″ display HAT for the Raspberry Pi Pico with a round IPS LCD, 240 x 240 resolution, 65K RGB colours, clear and colourful display and a joystick!
The HAT is designed for the Raspberry Pi Pico and communicates via SPI. It uses a GC9A01 display driver and SPI interface to reduce the number of your Pico’s GPIO pins used by the board.
The display can be programmed using MicroPython, with handy examples provided to get you started.
Below the round display, you’ll find a 5-input joystick that’s connected to the Pico’s GPIO pins as follows:
- Up = GP18
- Down = GP20
- Left = GP21
- Right = GP17
- Select = GP19
Note: Raspberry Pi Pico not included. You’ll need a Pico with male headers soldered to it. You can grab a Pico here and Pico male headers here, or buy a Pico with pre-soldered headers.
Software not currently compatible with the Pico W without losing wireless comms!
